PAID intern wanted!
**Update - applications for this are now closed - thanks!**
We're looking for a paid intern to join our team for a month to work on a local mapping project that we're involved in. You need to be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products, particularly Illustrator and Indesign. You also need to be very thorough with great attention to detail, and to be able to demonstrate this. And of course we're looking for the usual things that we care about like being focused, communicative, confident and energetic. Any extra architecture-related skills you bring - model-making, Photoshop, research, CAD - would be great, but not essential.
We'll pay you £1000 for four weeks work, 4 days a week (see here for why it's not full time). This will be on a self-employed basis, i.e. you are responsible for your own tax, NI etc. We know this isn't hugely generous, but we hope it's fair and we think that you'll get a great experience with us!

Well done HAT for not exploiting young workers. An example to other firms.
+1 to the above comment. It is shocking how many practices out there 'offer' unpaid intern placements, although the practice will make earnings out of that intern work...
Our profession truly must change.
Dear Hat team,
The varied portfolio showcased on your company website has closely attracted my attention. I would like to know if your are still looking for interns or recent graduates?
