Crowdfund London - get involved!

We are working with GLA and Spacehive on a new round of the Mayor of London's Crowdfunding programme.

Part of what makes London special is the jumble of unique, quirky, human places shaped by local communities. This initiative by the Mayor is aimed at creating more places like this - by helping Londoners to crowdfund innovative project ideas on Spacehive. Projects that boost quality of life and the economy. Crowdfund London gives Londoners the opportunity to pitch their ideas, big and small, for projects which will make their local area even better.

Communities across London are coming together to imagine, fund and create local places that people love - from a community garden in the heart of the city, re-establishing a historic market or the creative use of forgotten spaces to ambitious plans to construct elevated parks and uncover forgotten lidos.
If you live in London now is your chance to play a part in transforming where you live. If you have an idea which will make your local area special, build on local character and bring people together then the Mayor of London could help you make it happen.
There are a series of interactive workshops about to run throughout London, where you can:
  • Find out what the Mayor is offering and what you need to do to get involved
  • Learn from successful projects and access key advice / lessons to ensure your idea can succeed
  • Get insight into the exciting journey you’ll begin and what you can expect from running a crowdfunding campaign and delivering a local project
